Tall mountains, clear rivers, and hot weather made for an incredible time away….

I could hardly believe my eyes, it just seemed so unfair! I had fished that run hard for two hours before he came, only to have his girlfriend catch my fish!

It’s mid-October on Vancouver Island, a time when the local rivers start to see the biggest push of Coho and Chum salmon and it’s traditionally a time for me when I begin thinking about a fishing trip somewhere.
